Mission
Rooted in contemporary dance, GroundWorks engages artists in an interdisciplinary collaborative process to influence the practice and integration of arts in the community. It is within this setting of 'supported creativity' that the collective members of GroundWorks Integrated Arts Association will lead to innovation and positive change for the greater good.

Building a Community of Artists – Creating and Learning Together
GroundWorks aims to push the boundaries of individual artistic disciplines.  Our projects engage highly talented professional artists interested in developing their pragmatic skills in the areas of collaboration and mutual respect. Each of the artists that we work with shares a desire to develop their own artistic practice while assisting others in their professional development. As a result of the GroundWorks process, a deeper community of artists emerges.

Our Contribution
We seek to appeal to a wide audience, developing, educating, and providing engaging experiences for the general public. The basis for GroundWorks is the incorporation of various art forms into programs and performances, to accomplish a greater appreciation for the arts as an essential contribution to living a whole and fulfilling life.  

For Youth
GroundWorks sees a tremendous need to deliver high quality arts programming that brings together a collective group of artists that inspire and engage youth of all ages.  Our Youth Inter-Arts Program fulfills this need, while also serving as outlet for artists to connect with their community, refine their artistic practice and generate a deeper understanding of collaborative processes.
